Berenson Injury Law Donates to Food Bank to Support Federal Employees

Berenson Injury Law has assisted federal workers who are working without pay by donating 2,500 meals to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Yesterday, Mr. Berenson met with Stephen Raeside, the Senior Director of Development, to deliver a check and tour the facilities.

The Food Bank serves 50,000 individuals each week — and that was before the government shutdown.

It is heart-breaking that one out of four children live in families that are not certain where their next meal is coming from.

Mr. Berenson worked his way through college and law school, sometimes with jobs for the federal government as a law clerk for two federal agencies in Dallas and during summers in college on Air Force bases in San Antonio. His mother worked for the Air Force in San Antonio and his wife’s father was a colonel in the Army who served behind enemy lines in World War Two.
